Given Muslims (and Christians) believe that nonbelievers will be sent to hell to suffer for all eternity, and that is a just punishment, why bother helping people? Give them a few extra years before the eternal torture begins?
Good on them – donor centres are always crying out for it, and it’s an underrepresented group from what I remember in the newsletters they send out.
What I’d hope is that it turns into a long term habit rather than a one off for as many as possible though.

Ok cool..I’m like you don’t like or want to hear about anybodys religion.
But this about a group of people trying to do some good.
In fact a group that often is heavily criticised for not being or trying hard enough to be part of
British culture.
This blood could and probably will save countless lives..mine or yours..who knows.

Given the short shelf life of red blood and platelets, it seems rather silly to try and collect them all at once?
