Maybe controversial but I think the fine for not registering with the RTB should be 100% of the proceeds of the rental property. It wasn’t registered and thus the tenant was left unprotected, you don’t deserve a cent if that’s the case.
If he resigns then they’ll lose their majority. They don’t want that.
Just remember it never involves evil intention – it is always some form of mistake, an oversight in this situation.
