Hey people! Since you know your people better, I wanted to ask you, is this company scam or legit? Checked on the internet but didn’t find anything suspicious, how do I know if it’s scam or legit? Thanks a lot! 👊😎

  1. Prolly a scam no tax/krs number either in mail or on website. The warehouse according to website is located in Ukraine which is strange for “polish” company

  2. Looks fishy. If it was a polish company it would not have an “LLC” in the name, but “Sp. z o.o.” instead. It would not use a Gmail address for any business communication if it has its own .com domain. Finally, there is no company in polish KRS with that name (polish registry of companies).

  3. Thank you guys! 👍👍👍 I am trying to find good wood fuel supplier. Maybe you know what average price I can expect? Cause we Lithuanians buy things from you guys, same with wood fuel.

  4. If you check their “about”, factory manager is “Aleksy Imie Factory Manager)” that’s basically “Aleksy NAME”… None of the people there are Polish looking at the names itself.
LLC is American not Polish company as we got sp z o.o. .
Footer is 2021 so it’s not even updated.
Their linked FB page is locked, TT is a dead link and YT links to a private account and a short clip showing job site using machines operating in German and showing a truck with German license plate.
Quick search showed me a webpage listing Gabchimmahwoods Llc as a company actually registered in Ukraine.
On top of that, the webpage looks really unprofessional.

They may be selling wood products of Polish origin, but it ain’t a Polish company in my book.

  5. First red flag, their supposed address is not an office, it belongs to a warehouse. I’m unable to verify if they are indeed one of the companies leasing floor space there or not, but it’s not somewhere they’d handle the administrative part of their operation even if they were purely an import/export business.

Second red flag, their website is hosted in germany and domain registered in the UK. Polish businesses tend to stick with Polish providers.

Third red flag, the company supposedly exists for more than fifteen years – but their domain has been registered in 2020 and there’s basically NO mention of the company outside it.

Fourth red flag, https://bgp.he.net/net/139.162.160.0/19#_dns – see their “neighbors” on the same host, a lot of suspicious domains ( including zuralski-pl.com, which appears to be a fake website pretending to belong to 1Logistics Żuralski )
