Greatly overrated. Doesn’t hold a candle against Metsovo!
I wish they had better traffic management. The government could build a main road going past it , leaving a secondary one for the tourists and those wanting to pass through for whatever reason…. Instead the locals denied it and now anyone who wants to go past the town has to go through it regardless, so busses and people going to the ski resort or other villages, get traffic jammed in there constantly. Which ironically destroys the charm of the village having a bunch of cars going through narrow roads right next to all stores and cafes where people chill..
Yep, it’s quite lovely. A lot of the historic mountain towns are, from Metsovo to Arcadia to Zagorohoria.
