We are still in denial about radical Islam

  1. What a dumb fucking article. Basically boils down to:

“Why are we worried about Far-Right extremism when Islamic-extremism is worse”.

  2. We totally dont have

1 – Active national programmes that focus on Islamic extremism

2 – A sizable portion of the population that in general is more critical of any existence of islam over other religions.

3 – Regular media pieces that are critical of extreme Islamic states.

4 – A general understanding from most of the public that any form of religious extremism is pretty darn bad.

5 – For a fair while if not still currently police forces that would have eyes for anyone that looked remotely like they could possibly maybe follow islam.

Could you make an arguement that some politicians are being politicians and know that with how click bait media is that it’s not worth touching most topics that need nuance via any open public discussion. Yes but let’s be real here that’s the fault on us the public not wanting nuanced articles or discussions and instead wanting just click bait things to scream about. Also why we have ideologues as politicians leading the country rather than people with brains that think.

Every issue fascists use to claim all islam is bad can easily be said about the same fascists chosen religion with the very same examples able to be shown and brought up.

The real articles should be hey extremists are extremists and terrible people are in fact terrible regardless of religious views.

  3. “Quick, the public are beginning to realise our masters are shit leaders who only care about themselves”

    “We need to distract them”

    “What do the plebs hate”

    “….”

    “Muslims”

    “Muslims”
