So this seriously makes me question our fear of Russia post 90s collapse. . . For one they are struggling with, and even appearing to be pushed back by, a mid to low tier power. Secondly, they seem to be short supplies for a war lasting 6+ months and are now resorting to buying ammunition from one of the poorest countries on the planet, essentially guaranteed to be subpar if not outright defective. And you bet the lives of your men and your strategy on that? We need a strategic reevaluation of Russia imo. Seems to be pretty pathetic honestly.
From gas station with nukes to hole in the ground with nukes

So I’ve pointed this out elsewhere. But the US and UK when the war broke out ran around the world buying up all the old Soviet ammo we could find. Anyone who wanted to offload their arty shells or small arms ammo got top dollar for it. We gave it to Ukraine, you can find the deliveries under, “Non-Standard” or “Non-NATO” ammunition in the briefings.
I know India and a few LATAM countries took us up on that offer. I wonder if Russia is turning to North Korea simply because all the surplus was brought out a few months ago by the US/UK.

If so that is really fucking funny.
Good old communist block is back, but this time even more pathetic.

North Korean weapons in the hands of homeless alcoholics. Should be a hoot when they get deployed.
