Living in the Deep South of the US we have an affinity for anything fried which I am told is a practice brought over from Ireland.
Also in the Deep South we have what we call Fish Camps which serve mostly fried fish with fries, hushpuppies and coleslaw. The fish was traditionally catfish in the beginning, but evolved into being predominantly flounder and perch.
I believe this would be along the lines of what you guys call a Chippy.
Below is a link to the menu of one of the few remaining fish camps. It’s menu has expanded beyond the traditional fried seafood typical of a fish camp.
Is this similar to a chippy in Ireland?

Don’t know if it’s exactly what you want but JJ’s truck stop at youghal bridge is cool. Heaps of fried food. The sausages are amazing and it’s all built into the back of an articulated trailer that you can sit inside.
What’s a hushpuppy? Always thought it was a type of shoe 😂😂 Or something you tell a loud dog.
Our “Chippies” nowadays are cod if you’re lucky or flounder.
My local chippy charges €5.50 for a battered cod
We call it a chipper in Ireland
Had a look at that restaurant you shared. The food looks amazing and would put our chippers to shame, there’s nothing here like that ,😍
