  1. Was hoping occupy would do it actually.

Either way, sooner we march the sooner they fix it.

Tory governments only understand one thing and that’s violence.

  2. What’s the plan on the day? How do I participate? Do I just not work that day? As someone who has never been politically involved in protesting, what do I do?

  3. We are not in a real democracy so until the system is rebuilt uncorrupt then anything goes, got to to what we got to do.Something has to change…

  4. What are they actually asking for?

There are various things the government could do, of course, each with its own benefits, downsides, and trade-offs. If we are to join a day of protest surely we need to know specifically what we are protesting for?

  5. This will gain more momentum once the first increased bill or two comes in. They could arrange for a repeat in January and I expect it will gain a lot more support after people see just how expensive Christmas becomes for them.

  6. The tories have effectively nullified the social contract; the thin veneer of civilisation teeters on a fulcrum.

  7. October 1st?

Interesting date: It’s the same day as the Welsh and Scottish independence marches

  8. The cost of extracting gas from the ground has not significantly changed over the last two years so if fuel costs 10 times more now, who ends up with that 9 times amount? Derivative traders?

  9. well people voted for brexit, all the prices skyrocketed and now are bitching about it without admiting they were f stupid! suck it up now.
