I really thought this would be a game changer for those on social welfare, but then a clocked this
> You’ll get all this for six months from the day your VOXI For Now plan starts. After six months, we’ll switch you over to our standard £10 a month plan and you’ll still have access to Endless Social Media as well as Endless calls, texts and flexibility to change, pause, or cancel at anytime.
A classic bait and switch to get their name in the press, and they have to cough up an extra £25 a month if they want to maintain that unlimited data.
Doesn’t seem sensible to bite on that when for less than £10 more a month there’s a wealth of providers that are actually properly unlimited in perpetuity.
It says after 6 months you’ll still have unlimited ‘social media’ but doesn’t say anything about data, so do you have no data at all aside social media unless you cough up more…for £10/month? That doesn’t sound like a good deal. There’s plenty of those rolling contract providers offering stuff like unlimited calls, texts(if anyone still uses them, and with a considerable amount of data for £10-£15/m
I suppose after the 6 months you could just cancel it and go with someone else and nab the free 6 months, that’s probably what I’d do
That’s exactly what the poor need, unlimited social media so their minds can rot at an even faster rate.
