Sometimes I wonder if he really wants to join the EU
And he still thinks he can have the right to join the EU after these statements…
I would love to know why NATO even bothers keeping him in the coalition aside from Turkey’s strategic position…
Makes you in fact wonder how big and comfortable Putins asshole actually is, since this dude hasn’t stoped crawling in it for more then two years now.
He should lower his interest rates more to fight inflation
He’s correct but no one wants to listen
Renowned economics expert Erdoğan.
Don’t worry, Erdogan. Europe is still a better place to live – with or without the energy crisis.
Even though I must admit he is right, I cant wait for this shitstain of a nation to get kicked out of NATO…
I mean… He’s not wrong. But I don’t think we need criticism from someone leading a country with even worse inflation
Lol, inflation in Turkey is so bad that I paid more in euros for my groceries there than here in the Netherlands (!!!). The Turkish people (of course with much lower salaries than here) are suffering deeply because of his economic policies, yet he dares attack us. It’s sad at this point.
Just like a broken clock, even Erdogangster is right sometimes!
If we’d transitioned to more renewable energy sooner, the impact of the energy crisis _would_ have been less.
Then again if Putler wouldn’t have started an unprovoked war and been an absolute coward hiding behind his nukes, there would not have been an energy crisis of this magnitude to begin with.
The big picture lesson from all of this would be to double check our strategic risks and see what we can do to lower our dependency on goods/services provided by countries with non-democratic governments. For example: “Made in China” is not exactly a stable source of goods from a happy place, either.
I mean, erdo is a nightmare to his nation but he’s technically right.
Relying on Russian gas does get you into a pickle.
I mean he is half right, just not about the sanctions. We find ourselves in this situation because we allowed europe to become dependent on cheap russian energy in the first place. We put them in a strategic position where they are able to try and blackmail us into submission by shutting off the gas and now we’re paying for it. In hindsight this was clearly not the way to go.
I am afraid Russia is sowing a very bitter harvest for its future. Once the crisis has passed, and it will pass with all the suffering it might carry, Russia has lost its more profitable and reliable clients. Not to mention its reputation as a reliable partner, neighbor or “friend”.
About Erdogan…nothing to say
Erdogan says, Erdogan says…
Anyway…
Well he has been reaping what he sowed, so he is not really the authority on this subject, or is he.
