This season brace yourselves for something a bit different. In celebration of Esch 2022 which encourages us to “remix” Art and Culture, the newest program of the University of Luxembourg Choir will focus on the art of choral arrangement.
From realized choral arrangements of art songs by Clara Schumann and Grabiel Fauré, parodies of one of Schubert’s most beloved pieces, Luxembourgish Tunes arranged by local composers, and folk and musical theater melodies brought to life by a group of 50 singers – this accessible program will sure to have something in it for everybody.
Our first rehearsal will be:
Tuesday, 13. September 19:00 – 21:30
at Campus LIMPERTSBERG
Auditoire BS 0.03 from entry hall at the right side
The University of Luxembourg Choir is currently welcoming new members – all students, faculty and staff from the University are eligible, as well as any tenors and basses from the greater Luxembourg community.
Please write to u/UniLuChoir for more info, or to book a visit or audition. 🙂
