“This will truely be our winter of discontent”

Hang on, I thought Ryan said he didn’t there would be a problem. He said it would be tight, we know as reports last year said it would be a problem. But didn’t see the need for action. I might be making a mistake but am sure I saw a headline about that yesterday.
This is ridiculous, if there are blackouts or power cuts this government absolutely needs to go. There needs to be a grilling on why are they so incompetent.I hope they don’t come back. The Green Party are genuinely a waste of a vote.
I think most people are on board with climate change. it’s real and we need to go green it’s a no brainer. But the Green Party are against science. Worse they are too cowardly to look at the real policies needed. They pretend we can all go fully organic and buy local and it suddenly answers the needs of millions of people.
– Anti nuclear
– Anti GMO (ignoring the innovations that are responsible for billions being fed today).
– Anti incineration of plastic
– Anti LNG
It’s like they have no idea of what you need in a modern developed society. They prefer to buy some hemp jumpers, recycle and call it day. They seem to think bike lanes is all we need. We need massive industrial solutions.
The peat power plants could be restarted that is where it is going if the gas isn’t enough. Great job lads, being against LNG means even more of a natural carbon sink will be cut away and burned.
Why does the state need permission for these.
In before the nuketards … oh never mind.
Apparently Moneypoint will be going fullblast from next week until next Spring for the first time since the 80s.
out with the old and in with the nucleus
Are they planning for diesel generators I wonder.
“in order to facilitate the build of additional generators unfortunately a further increase of charges will be required”
This will be announced on a quiet Friday afternoon before a Bank Holiday.
