From 3.09 till 11.09 in Zielona Góra takes place the biggest wine festival in Poland-“Winobranie”. It started as always with a big parade with dude dressed as Bacchus. Everyday people can try local wines directly from the wine producers. Other atractions include concerts and tours of vineyards.

That’s like the only week the city doesn’t go to sleep after 9PM. And it smells like burnt meat.
I’ve been in Zielona Gora twice, for Winobranie, and loved it both times…. and I don’t even like wine 🙂
