2. Hold your laugh for prison sentences, and them being out within half of what was handed over to them. Remember, [shoving an ex prime minister](https://yle.fi/news/3-12088716) (not condoning the behavior, you “but muh…” idiots) carries more fines than [reckless driving, killing a child, and lying to police about using phone when that incident happened](https://www.is.fi/kotimaa/art-2000007883366.html).

3. Good to see the people monitoring us are doing a good job. I would have been pissed if they had missed these guys while investigating/busting people for growing plants.

   We’re sorry all those people died, but hey, we did successfully nab those guys growing plants. So it’s not all bad.

4. Based on the original Finnish news, there are few errors made in translation. At least yesterday they had no homemade xplosives, only suspicious amounts of fertilizers that could be used to make some. But stolen dynamite is bad enough.

6. Hopefully the revelation that these guys have been on the police radar has a chilling effect on their possible extremist chums. There haven’t been any prior cases like this so I really don’t know what sort of sentence to expect if they’re found guilty on all counts.

7. Terrorism means to use violence or threat of violence to further ones political agenda. This is what the far right has been doing for the decade. It is not the first case of right wing terrorism.

   Some examples of recent right wing terrorism: attacking pride parade with chemical weapons, attempted arson of immigration center, death of one person in Helsinki Eliel square.. and of course the internet harassment, which is also often using threat of violence to silence those of other opinion.

10. Do these people have some grand delusions of greatness or something? I mean, how do 5 guys and a small amount of explosives going to do anything? Even if the guys have small pistols. This is what I don’t understand. You’d have to have thousands of members like some ISIS to have real effect on things. Sure you can blow up something, but what does that do to change whole country and its political systems?

    Would be nice to hear what they talk about in their meetings. o they agree who’s going to be the new president and who’s the defense minister? “We’ll just blow this thing and then we have the power”.
