Boris Johnson should be resigning for the rules he’s announced today, when he’s no intention of obeying them.
Even if covid cases and deaths went up 10x over the next 2 weeks theres no way thered be Christmas restrictions now. Can you imagine Johnson announcing Christmas restrictions after all this? lol. Would cause the biggest backlash out of almost any UK gov announcement ever.
Only elements on the left care about this shit. It’s mainly horrified Guardian readers. It won’t make an iota of difference to Tory voters, who’d vote for Satan if he promised tough immigration policies and lower taxes. This is just liberals talking to themselves. Hand-wringing twats. Labour must offer a clear alternative, sometime in the next two centuries, otherwise we’re all just batteries for the machines.
Welp, going drinking myself into oblivion.
