They should add some drop off/pick up fees outside schools too.

Just take transit….
Last i checked a good majority of airports in the UK got some kind of transit link.
Heathrow having litterally every line in london going to it.
Perfect example of market failure. If there is an effective monopoly then government should regulate to protect consumers
Just get dropped off a little before the airport and walk the last 200m. I do this at Manchester T3 when I visit England. It’s not rocket science.
Stayed in Gatwick long stay a few weeks ago, satnav took me through the drop off zone. Got a charge even though I didn’t stop, even at the crossings. I entered at 22:00 and was out by 22:02.
I phoned them and they stated that there is a 1 minute grace period through the drop off zone. 1 minute. To do that you have to be doing 30 consistently even though it’s a 20mph zone. If you get caught speeding it’s an automatic fine.
