5. I was in bed when the rain hit and was to lazy to get up, open the shutters and check it out but I heard a continuous droning rumbling for a pretty long time.

   Thank feck we are finally getting some rain.

   I’m 20km east of you, lots of light flashes and rumbling from midnight to one.

7. I wanted to park my car in a safer area. (we have some flash floods on the street). The moment i opened the door i heard one of the loudest bangs ever in my life, with maybe a few tenths of a seconds after a flashing light.

   I just noped the fuck out back inside. Luckely the rain wasn’t as intense as predicted and no flooding happened.

10. The loud thunder woke me up at night. I woke my girlfriend up because God knows why I’m still terrified of thunder at night. And then I had nightmares the rest of the night of falling trees killing my animals outside.

11. In Brussels I only saw distant lightning, but heard no sound. Dog doesn’t enjoy it usually, but was fine yesterday.
