The F35*B* is literally the only jet in the world that can actually be used, placing significant limitations on range and load capacity on sorties.
It can’t provide a self sustained airspace surveillance perimeter (I’ll believe in Crowsnest when I see it!) or be resupplied by plane and let’s not get into number of escorts or F35*B* actually available..
It’s a glorified helicopter carrier doubling as the Royal Yacht™ essentially.
The Japanese are converting their helicopter carrier into an F35*B* carrier and it will equal the PoW except cheaper..
The French CdG is actually full spectrum capable by the way.. a super carrier by comparison!
