My sister lives and works in Quebec, as my parents got older (in Liege), she is thinking on coming back. Her husband, with his Canadian Pass, can stay only 3 months in Belgium, naturally it is not enough to settle down there and she prefers to take her husband with her. They both work in Quebec but when they come to Liege at the beginning they will not have a job, so how can my sister support her husband to be illegible to come to Liege? I heard she should have a job for 1 year with a minimum wage salary to be able to sponsor her husband.

It seems she should make 30 000 Euroe per year in belgium to be able to bring her husband, link of Belgium Embassy in Japan: [shorturl.at/afjx4](https://shorturl.at/afjx4) => Documents proving a minimum income of € 1.809,32 (NET) per month

Does she still have citizenship?
Then he can apply for family reunification.
Spouses of Belgian citizenship get residency and work permits. I think it is called an orange card, and then you get a permanent card. https://www.liveinbelgium.be/orange-card-annexe-bijlage-19ter/
In what sector are they both working? Depending of their skills and sector the husband may actually land a job before moving, if he’s already looking on the Belgian market. He can already have zoom or teams interviews.
Regardless, if she’s Belgian he can come under family reunion rule (don’t know the exact procedure though, check the SPF internal affairs website)
Besides, I’m kinda wondering what would an blend of quebecois and liège accent would sound like, outfi de calice!
The shortned link doens’t go anywhere?!
Crate.
Do they have any kids with Belgian nationality? Because that would make things much easier.
