Shit I’d not want to work anywhere hotter than that.
I’d be glad if we get to 19C where I work. It’s colder than the toenails of a polar bear come winter.
Edit: I work in a Dublin university
My room at work was 31° in July and I honestly felt like I was in a sauna
While making them keep windows open because of Covid. Pointless.
>Separately, once Cabinet has concluded today, it is expected the final report will be published of the Commission of Inquiry into the controversial sale of the company, Siteserv.
Well fuck me! Didn’t they sneak that in to the smallest of corners out of sight.
This is a big win for the lads in the office. Some of the women won’t be happy though
19 degrees seems grand. I was measuring 14 at home last year… the old lad refuses to turn on the heating for more than an hour a day.
Won’t be enforced
we will see this extend to home heating too at some point mark my words
In all fairness, a lot of people heat far too much.
The goal of heating in the winter should be that you aren’t cold when wearing some decent winter clothing, not to feel like summer where you’re sweating in your t-shirt.
I’ve always especially hated it in shops, where they heat so that the staff can be in short sleeves, ignoring that their customers are coming in from outside wearing winter coats.
