The Romanian press is full of news regarding Schengen right know. The disappointment when we will be rejected again will be high all over again. This will just feed the far right when they say that we are treated like second class EU citizens.
If these rejections continue after 2025, Romania should start to apply EU directives only selectively, and use protectionist measures. By then, it will be clear that we really are second class citizens, and all illusions should be left asside.
