I’m leaning towards no, but will have a read through the deal.
what is it, 6percent each year?
Voting no. Like I’ll gladly accept 6% but I’m sick of partnership, forsa are a wet rag. Vote no, call a general strike and we’ll still get 6% if not more
Left Forsa 3 years ago as I feel they are a shower of cowboys.
But general concensus in office amongst union members is it will be accepted.
Im voting yes but unhappily.
It’s not even tipping the edges with inflation and cost of living but we need the extra money now and if its rejected fuck knows when we’ll get another rise if at all l
I want to vote no, it’s not enough. But it will pass because people just want something to help with the bills
I never got this email. Must get on to them.
Turning down a payrise just before a downturn is foolish.
Absolutely voting yes. I will take their arm off.
Economy is going to tank, lock in that rise before it does.
I’m not a civil servant but I wouldn’t accept it if I was.
People on the top do not need a rise whatsoever… pay new entrants who were shafted previously. The inequality is grossly unfair
Wasn’t there a pay deal agreed a few years ago? Has that expired?
Anyone considering voting no isn’t taking the wider political implications in mind.
This is a good deal by private sector standards.
The government can’t really offer much more than this while private sector workers, who have a median salary that’s €10k lower, get nothing and then will be asked to fund pay rises for better paid public sector workers.
The political push back would be too high from private sector workers. These people make up a big proportion of FFG’s base, so they’ll be careful about upsetting them.
Voting no bro. It’s below inflation and therefore a paycut. Im an eo and low on the scale so shits getting real rn with everything going up bar pay. All my friends working private sector have gotten decent rises this year, as companies try to keep em from moving on. CS needs to do the same, shouldn’t be scraping by doing the work we do. All I know is my office the members are no.
