  1. I wouldn’t be surprised if criminal gangs linked leaked intel to police, I don’t believe there is ‘honour between thieves’ but even larger syndicates have a ‘no’ on certain things. Not because of morality but In case any action like this calls upon police to give all their resources to find the people responsible.

I think given the past spate of shootings it just escalated till it got to this point.

  2. Guys a piece of shit for shooting in a random family home in the first place but to kill a 9 year old girl and then go into hiding, unforgivable.

Luckily for him he’ll be out in 5.

  3. Cosy life in prison, and people will fool themselves into believing that’s a harsher punishment than what he really deserves.

  4. Gonna just clear up for some people how the criminal justice system and specifically how a murder charge works. If you have the intention of causing someone serious harm (GBH), and they happen to die as a cause of your actions, then you are guilty of murder. Leaving your house with a knife and you stab someone is enough burden of proof that you left with the intention to harm someone. Picking up a random knife you found on the floor or say your attacker dropped one and you end up using it is not proof of intention to harm. That is more consistent with self defence. Even then it will depend how extreme your actions are. But leaving with a gun, is near impossible to argue your intentions weren’t to harm. So the conviction, if it is him, will no way be anything but murder. Now, murder as a conviction holds a MINIMUM life term. This means that whatever the tariff is, this is the minimum number of years one must serve before being considered for parole. So it’s safe to assume another 10-20% of the tariff will be served in pursuit of parole. Murder with a gun is 30 year starting point, adjusted for mitigating or aggravating factors. There are 0 mitigating factors in this case; it happened under the veil of nighttime, shooting indiscriminately, lying in wait possible, and the public backlash and media attention, it is very possible whoever this sorry soul is will serve a whole life sentence (no parole ever to be considered) and at the minimum, just from experience with other cases, will receive a 38 year tariff. To reiterate, there will be no time for good behaviour or whatever other odd misconceptions the general public have on the criminal justice system. He most likely will never be released from custody in the remainder of his life.

  5. In UK is murder and manslaughter different crime?

I don’t want this PoS to walk free due to some bullshit technicalities eg “oh he is not guilty of murder because Olivia was not the intended target.”

  6. Why have they not released the name/image of the second man arrested?

the first guy arrested (the guy who was the intended victim) had his name & photo everywhere.
Now they havnt released the photo or name of the actual suspect?

sounds like theyre covering up for him and dont want the public to know what the real suspect looks like – normally in cases like this it will be one of Britain’s new arrivals. With the Thomas o’hollaran case a few weeks ago they did everything they physically could to not release the killers name/photo as it goes against london’s ‘diversity is our strength’ narrative. Infact some articles even said ’90 year old Thomas O’Halloran, who died on his mobility scooter, vigils held across Britain’ etc. I mean the media & police are pure sick in this country
