Used to work in a shop back in 2008. Like that. You know times are tight, when it’s straight to Xmas.
My local Tesco had a shelf full of selection boxes the last time I was there. We haven’t even gone through the spooky season yet, who’s thinking about Christmas?
Maybe shops think that people will have no cash to buy stuff in December so need to get rid of stock now whilst people have cash!
I’ve gotten over this gripe. I’m not big on a big Christmas extravaganza, but my family are and my nanny starts buying bits and bobs early and that means she can afford the whole shebang. I think there’s an excessive consumerist agenda behind it, but she just wants to be able to afford chocolates for the children that are now numbering in the forties lol
This is getting worse every year. Shops out here disrespecting spooky season, the most pointlessly fun holiday of the year.
It’s way too early to be reminding people not to buy Nestle products ever cause they’re evil and shit.
