why are they asking for permission to solve the cyprob?
Great move. I find it crazy how our media always focus on the same stuff about the S.C. resolutions, and ignore a bunch other important issues that are also included. They mention only what fits the narrative “greeks vs turks” like Maras, Strovilia, Green line etc. and they never mention the “cypriot vs political elite” perspective e.g. how our politicians left the younger generation, women, the broader society outside of the conflict. The S.C. resolutions actually try to promote a bottom up road to reunification, and its like the general society doesn t even bother to take action. I honestly sometimes wonder why the S.C. hasn t given up on us. Our media are equally responsible with our politicians in this problem, but we are also passively responsible for taking their shit all those years.
