Guess he was trying to use butane to extract THC. From reading, you use liquid butane as a solvent and I assume he was venting to atmosphere to remove the solvent.
Hold on here; did he actually try to make it indoors? Jesus christ…
& he was sentenced for Arson? Surely that would only apply if the explosion was intended..?

Should have just used hair straighteners and a clamp. Much safer and easier….
