If I recall the land was given free to the Vincen Fathers by the council who then sold the plot in question to the developer for €15m. They ain’t gonna walk away without building something there and will keep applying until they get what they want.

Ah it’s a bit more than that. There’s a fundamental zoning issue here which HC ruled on.
Like I dont like NIMBY stuff but the law is the law.
