How a Norwegian DRINKING SONG Became a Turkish National Anthem

  1. That’s interesting. Very common thing in Norway btw, hit songs being rewritten into football songs. I wonder if that’s the case in every country

  2. Ahahaha😆 that is so true! That song was very popular among alternative stream youngsters, but than it was popular all around the country.

I didn’t even know this band was Norwegian. I wouldn’t have guessed it from their style. It’s vibrant, upbeat and catchy but you still feel the elements of melancholy in it. Very Turkish!😂 And considering the rhythms and the instruments, I think this song is closer to our liking.

I’m surprised now that I never heard those guys being played at a radio station or pub after living last eight years in Norway. This song was waaaay more popular in Turkey😁

  3. 1- never heard this song ever.
2- 100% disagree that it sounds like an american band. if I had heard it on the radio I would think it’s some east european/russian band singing in broken english.
3- please for the love of baby jesus, check your sound before you upload a video. it’s extremely inconsistent. one second you’re whispering, and the next they’re shouting in my ear. wtf.
4- why add noise to your video?

  4. Side note: you find songs that are sung in Norwegian churches where the melody was originally from songs typically sung in pubs.
