Post-menopause HRT treatment to be sold over the counter in UK

  1. The UK can’t even keep up with HRT for peri menopausal treatments. There’s constant shortages, yet demand has increased. Those that can access HRT are having to chop and change based on supply shortages. This puts their wellbeing and in some cases lives and health at risk.

Menopause isn’t just a dry vagina, bone loss and hairloss. And, private HRT is expensive for many to access though sometimes the only option available because accessing HRT through the NHS is a nightmare and postcode lottery. Good thing mental health services are on-point and accessible to all (/s).

Anyone who wants to read more or feels they need support can take a look at r/menopause sub.

  2. I do hope it’s not sold, distributed or created by men! Only women should have a hand in women only issues like menopause! /S

I’m sure there are femanists who actually believe this, just like they abused the guy who got the job about periods.

  3. I think this is great, as long as stocks last. And although I understand I’m not the primary beneficiary, this may benefit trans women too.
