I always find it amusing that the Daily Mirror and Daily Express are owned by the same company, simply feeding the respective readerships what they want to see.
I’m not sure she can. The obvious solution is to call a snap election so people can vote them in again.
Such a headline presumes that Britain was ‘fixed’ prior to 2010. I’d argue many people believe that Britain has been broken for decades.

Spends the last year or so sitting behind BoJo in the House of Commons, nodding and agreeing with everything he said, and now, she’s claiming it all needs fixing and she’s the one to do it. Untrustworthy. Not worth listening to. Same old, same old.

Even if another party wins an election, I can see them been voted out the time after and Conservatives back in, due to people saying they haven’t fix everything. When in reality everything is such a big mess it will probably take a long time to fix.
My local council is labour and people keep saying it’s their fault everything is a mess, we need to vote them out and have conservatives run it instead. So I’m not even convinced another party would be elected next time.
There’s a complete detachment between politics and reality. Rory Stewart said as much when he described how people wanted to debate him on Saudi policy in Yemen when he thought high speed broadband was the issue for his electorate.
Privatisation has been an utter disaster. Rail, gas water, power companies and BT are solely fixated on delivering a profit to their shareholders and directors with the nation footing the bill. There’s not one upside for privatisation but not only don’t we acknowledge the economic disaster it has become, the Tories simply want to double down on the policy and now surround the NHS like salivating hyenas.
Brexit was a Tory wet dream but with help from Russia, a compliant media and moderate Tories who put their own careers ahead of the countries interests, we’ve inflicted on itself the most egregious own goal possible. No economic upsides, no benefits and yet again, not only don’t we acknowledge why we’re slowly slipping down the GDP ladder and trailing the economic recovery stakes (22nd out of 23) the Conservative government is ready for Brexit 2.0.
The country is falling apart and the Tory party is bereft of ideas or concern. People will freeze to death in their homes this winter. The police are preparing for riots. The economic indicators are flashing red everywhere but all we get are delusional “plucky Brit” slogans. May promised us “strong and firm leadership”. That was three prime ministers ago.
We need more BRITISH CHEESE! We want BRITISH APPLES. We import foods

Short memories lol. Who took us to war for oil? Who deregulated the banks and then redistributed wealth from plumbers, teachers and nurses to their banker mates? Who consistently runs up the national debt every chance they get? Also who actually voted for Brexit, not the tories. Who is responsible for C19? Who is responsible for invasion of Eastern Europe?
I like how they’re giving Phil and Holly an equal share of the blame.

Problem is, these “politicians” live in their own bubble. They really believe they have “fixed” Britain. And that is a very big problem for the rest of us.
I don’t think they see it as broken though.
I feel like the current crop of tories are so ideologically driven to shape Britain into the country they think is perfect they don’t give a damn about the damage they’re causing through their policy.
