I like the kid as well, he always comes across as intelligent & smart & can speak very well, even when I disagree with him (happened a bunch during corona). But 20 kilos of coke is not nothing. This is potential infiltration of our political system by the drugs trade. And it will be impossible to truly prove his innocence. His political career should be over, I don’t see how you can come back from this.
TBH I don’t see how he can ever hold any position of power in Belgium to begin with. There should be no coming back from being in a position of power and influence and being linked to serious drug trade crimes.
I hope I’m wrong and it can somehow be proven 100% that he & his family are really completely innocent.
Hmm, from interviews I’ve seen and heard with the guy, he comes across as quite articulate and intelligent.
Could’ve made it to an easy political career being smart, well-spoken and from non-white ethnicity. Guess that’s over now though.
