If you value the NHS, don’t vote Tory, no matter how many diversionary stories about wokism, scroungers and immigrants they use to provoke fear in you with.
I was admitted for an op yesterday at 11am, I’m now on hour 28 of waiting in my bed to be seen. Unless you’re critical you just keep getting pushed down the list, in the community or once you’re admitted.

Its deliberate because long lists drive people towards private health care and make them resentful of NHS funding.
Labour slashed numbers on waiting lists from 4.2 million to 2.3 million people.
The conservatives have [steadily](https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/news/national/17699439.patients-risk-growing-nhs-waiting-lists—mps/) taken the numbers back to 4.2 million (and were doing this well before Covid).
