Any trad heads knocking around here? I’d love to get your opinion on this cause I’m conflicted.

What happens when a Norwegian and an English man take a traditional Irish tune and ….. I dont know.

I feel like, as a trad head myself, I should not like this. .. But I do.

  1. I’m not OK with this…. Nothing to do with cultural appropriation, it’s just scutter.

    Anyone can play with whatever music they want, but it’s better if they make it interesting, without “cultural appropriations” music would stagnate.

  2. Most Irish folk songs have versions in Scotland, England, Canada , USA and even versions within Ireland. Music is like water . It flows. Get over it
