guess that’s the downside of an open market. oh well, sucks to be a democracy i guess. we’d all just be better off under communism anyway, atleast then the glorius soviet union commision can dictate the prices for every resource and product in a 5 year plan. so much better. /s
It’s funny how Norway was told that being outside of Europe would be detrimental to their economy.
Can’t blame them, if the opportunity is there, why not take it? I’m sure any other country would do the same.
If they are able to deliver the gas then I don’t mind at all.
So does every other oil and gas exporters in europe
Well, they have something that’s much in demand… that’s how things work. Good for them, I guess.
Just goes to show that the markets are working. Money is flowing from silly Germans to sensible Norwegians.
We should by no means give them any discounts, as they will never learn unless they feel the pain of beyond stupid and amoral energy policies.
At least Norway actually does good stuff with the money by putting it into their sovereign wealth fund. 99% of other countries including my own would also choose to profit from this situation, but would just use it to make some elites richer.
W for Norway, spend the money wisely. Not your fault that countries have mismanaged energy supply. Please consider buying a Rolls-Royce or a McLaren for your next car.
