alright it’s time to be informed, googling didn’t help me
what’s a squid game?
This really should not be news. An incident that happened once is now being presented as “THE NEW BIG PROBLEM THINK OF THE CHILDREN OUTLAW EVERYTHING”. Meanwhile, all they are doing is giving blueprints to kids who want to try it too.
This is not an issue outside of that incident, unless we make it one.
Klinkt als een moderne variant van een eeuwenoude traditie.
Kids imitating something they saw. It’s of every generation.
That being said: from own experiences and what I remember of people from my time at school, said imitation only ever things that make the person feel powerful/good.
Growing up, we spend the vast majority of our time around adults that we have to listen to and who often make decisions we as kids didn’t like, usually involving bedtime, studying, allowance, etc…
That too, is an example of behavior to imitate. A power over others, even if as adults, we don’t frame it like that. The people, the group, that you clearly aren’t a part of, who can do things you can’t or aren’t allowed to do.
And then when the chance arises to do it anyway, it’s jumped at, without thought.
Rambling there…
“It’s of every generation” I say, sure… still not fun for the people getting beat up.
This new show is trending so find anything you can about it and report it! Who cares if it’s bullshit? It gets us clicks!
Wait why is the trust in traditional news declining?
Dat doet mij denken aan de post op /rbelgium waar ze vragen waar ik mijn nieuws consumeer. Niet dus. Voor onder andere deze reden.
Net squirt game gegoogled
K was er al klaar mee na 5minuten
Probably a parents-problem that they allow their children to watch shows where people get killed for the pleasure of rich old dudes..
But beyond that, it always happen with any other big internet trend, my generation talked about Marilyn Monroe removing ribs to suck his own dick.. the current one talks about squid game – not to mention “games” like baptising each other with a head clap each time we got a haircut
so? When WCW was on Kanaal 2 back in the days, we’d play “wraslin’ ” on the playground too, our school’s playground had a sandbox for L.O. / P.E. to do long jumps, that was a perfect spot to get a little rough without ending up full of chafes and scratches.
