  1. They are from Płock. Sadly they dispanded/ended their career a couple years ago. Their frontman is almost 50.

  2. They were very popular (at least in rock-playing radios and rock community) a few years ago, particularly after releasing 2015 and 2018 albums (unfortunately the English version of their wiki has not been updated for some time [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lao_Che_(band)](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lao_Che_(band)) ). Spięty is the nickname of the leading vocal, who also has two solo albums, in a bit different style, but definitely worth checking as well (at least the Antyszanty one).

See: [https://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lao_Che](https://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lao_Che) and [https://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hubert_Dobaczewski](https://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hubert_Dobaczewski) for more info, you can use google website translator.

  3. This song is from Spięty’s (Their frontman) first solo album. It’s inspired by sea shanty. He recently released a second solo album, which I didn’t like that much tbh.

The band recently retired, I actually attended their last concert in Płock, which is where they come from.

Their first albums were concept albums.

    * The first one is inspired by Slavic culture and paganism.
    * The second one, Powstanie Warszawskie, is all about Warsaw Uprising during ww2. Songs are written from the pov of Polish soldiers
    * Gospel is focused on Christianity and relationship with God

After that not so much, but they are very good too. I love their lyrics, they are so full of references to history or other works of art, but at the same time very humorous often. Not to say the music isn’t great either!

What Morże is about? Difficult to answer. It uses a pun that Polish words for sea (morze) and maybe (może) are pronounced the same. I think the song is mainly reminiscing about things that *maybe* could be done differently in life, but if you translate it literally it may sound a bit like gibberish

Tbh you asked a very broad question and it’s hard to answer. If you have a more precise question, or would like a translation of a specific song, let me know
