  1. February 24, 2022, Russia started a full-scale military invasion to the Ukrainian territory. This brutal war and military crimes of Russian troops caused a humanitarian crisis in Ukraine with thousands civilians killed and millions becoming refuges. many international companies decided to leave the Russian market, while some others continue doing business there as usual, here are some of them:

EU: **France** (Leroy Merlin, Auchan, Bonduelle, FM Logistic, Lactalis, GEFCO Group, Lesaffre, L’Occitane) **Germany** (Liebherr, Berlin Chemie, Karl Storz, Mann+Hummel, Metabowerke, Big Dutchman, Lemken) Austria (Alpla) Netherlands (Philips) Switzerland (Sygenta Group, SGS) **Italy** (Calzedonia, Unicredit Group, Perfetti Van Melle, Parmalat, Ariston, Miele, Camozzi,Marcegaglia).

    UK: OSTC Group, Avon.

US: (International Paper, Armstrong Industries, AP Packaging, Huntsman, Fluor, Hills Pet Nutrition).

Remember the names of these companies.

  2. damn companies leaving is gonna make such a change lmao

even company like Apple only closed stores, phones apple store apple music etc all work

  3. This is a very conditional list. Some companies simply change their owners and names. For example, Cropp is now called CP and there are all the same clothes. Clothes from Zara and Pull and bear are sold at Wildberries. Ikea is gone, but the factories, that made furniture for them in Russia, are selling it on Yandex Market now. And etc. Probably the biggest blow will be Sony’s departure, when all Russian streaming platforms will be forced to remove foreign music. But again, I’m still using Spotify. It works fine on a computer and on a phone with vpn (but it’s sad that I can’t pay my favorite musicians for their work). It all seems ridiculous, but foreign companies don’t pay the taxes for Putin. It’s good.

  4. I work for a big American company that most people would recognize. The CEO announced that we would be leaving Russia but 6 months after we’re still there… The only thing we did if to offer jobs abroad for Russian employees who wanted to leave the country (all relocation expenses paid if course).

I think this is even worse than the ones who said from the beginning that they would not leaving.

  5. Guess what, there are more than 195 member states in UN and only counties in EU plus some US allies have sanctioned Russia which equals around 16% of world populations. Step outside your small circles and explore a little bit
