  1. > Our research shows that the economic case for keeping taxes on the rich low is weak. Major tax cuts for the rich since the 1980s have increased income inequality, with all the problems that brings, without any offsetting gains in economic performance.

Failed and discredited economic theory being recycled. Why not give it another go? What is it they say about insanity again?

  2. As soon as she started talking tax cuts I knew it wasn’t going to be for the middle class or the poor.

  3. A made up and provably false conomic policy to sell the lie that cutting tax for the rich benefits the poor. Designed by the greedy, for the greedy and dipped in malice and failure.

    Perfect for this government!

  4. Trying the same thing over and over again expecting different results. Not just stupid but insane, unless of course she’s just being dishonest about the reasons behind it…

  5. But it begs the bigger question, why did the ordinary tories vote for her, knowing the overall cost to the country would be more of the same, thereby in the certain knowledge that some shit is still going to land on them. A big number of them are dependent on government largesse doctors, contractors, councilors, head teachers, pensioners etc etc.
