  1. Not gonna lie, it is not gorgeous, however my guess it that the degradation was so big that they decided to keep the facades only. I’ve seen it many times but it still catches my interest whenever I pass it

  3. The original building was destroyed by bullets and shelling 90%. The original plan was to demolish it but they wanted to build it like this as a homage to the victims of the Revolution of ’89

  4. The question remains, how’s the quality of modern architecture in Romania? I hope that’s not the prime example of it.

Here in the comment section you can see a number of romanians part taking in our national sport: self-flagelating and talking out of their asses how space-worpingly bad Romania and romanians are bad at everything. It’s so bad and bad, and full of baddness, no other country or people were as bad at everything ever in history, or will ever be. If we could live in hell itself we would, that’s how bad Romania is, and no argument can tell them otherwise (they will ignore them anyway).
