Hopefully, this new legislation is not specific to goods made in Xinjiang or China as a whole as not to give the implication of support for the US’ unfounded claims of widespread slavery in Xinjiang.
I dunno, how about we stop buying goods from dictatorships at all.
Because I’m going to suggest enriching tyrants has not worked out too well.
All labour in china is somewhat forced given labour doesn’t have any say.
Late, but good. Let’s hope Germany doesn’t block the legislation.
