  1. ‘Immigration Doctrine’ from IYI Party: We will return all Syrian refugees to their homelands on September 1, 2026

The IYI Party has announced its action plan for ‘refugees’ in Turkey. IYI Party leader Akşener said, “We will have brought all Syrian refugees back to their hometowns on September 1, 2026.”

ANKARA- IYI Party announced its ‘Migration Doctrine and Strategic Action Plan’ with the launch it held in Ankara. Meral Akşener, Chairman of the IYI Party, made the opening speech of the doctrine, which was announced with the slogan “Decisive and Planned Return is Nearly”.

IYI Party leader Meral Akşener stated that there are 8 million asylum seekers and illegal immigrants in Turkey, “with an optimistic estimate based on the lowest numbers,” and said, “We can get angry with asylum seekers, refugees and smugglers. The place where that anger will focus is Mr. Erdogan and his government. If anger focuses on foreigners, it will mask the evil done to this country. This account must be asked. This account should be asked from Mr. Erdogan and the government, who have turned our country into a ditch. This account should be asked through democracy at the ballot box,” he said.

‘The skullcap fell and he looked bald’

Noting that “Turkey has become a migrant warehouse thanks to the AK Party and Mr. Erdogan,” Akşener said, “I made a call to Mr. Erdogan. I said, “If you can’t get over your anger, I’m ready to go to Syria and meet with Assad.” The government continued to ignore us and ignore the problem. He made our nation uneasy with contradictory artificial explanations. Now the skullcap fell off and he looked bald,” he said.

Expressing that they will establish a dialogue with Syrian and other refugees and those who are smuggled in Turkey in cooperation with the states of the region and other countries, they will solve the problem and prevent migration, Akşener said, “We will have brought all Syrian refugees back to their hometowns on September 1, 2026. “The steps and measures we will take on the first day of our coming to power are ready,” he said. Akşener said in her speech:

“When I was appointed as the Ministry of Interior, they came from all units and briefed the operation. Our senior friend came later and said you need to get another briefing. The year is 1996. There is no concept of migration. There was nothing about warming in those years. He said I needed to get a briefing on immigration. Senior executives came and said that there is a migration movement in the world and that Turkey is a transit route. There are no more days. We talked about this from morning to evening. They said they will come to you from abroad and demand an agreement and flexibility. That meant ditching this country. Great efforts are made to enter the EU then. They said, ‘Don’t be flexible about it’. These briefings disappeared after Mr. Erdogan took office. We are faced with a person who knows everything, venerable.”

GOOD PARTY AKALIN: CLIMATE CRISIS WILL CAUSE GREAT DANGER

Tolga Akalın, Chairman of the IYI Party National Security Policy, made a presentation on the action plan they prepared. Akalın, who said that “the caliphate will be declared in Turkey in 2023” is propagated through the social media posts in Pakistan and Afghanistan, criticized the government’s policy towards refugees and said:

“When the draft constitution published by the paramilitary organization SADAT and its think tank ASSAM, which is in cooperation with the government, is examined, the targets for changing the demographic structure of Turkey can be understood more clearly. In this draft, a new regime with the capital Istanbul, the official language Arabic and the name Asrika was envisaged. The policy that President Erdoğan is currently pursuing and that he will continue to pursue is aimed at falsifying the Turkish state’s ‘nation-state’ character and the Turkish nation’s ‘Turkishness’ by obscuring it.

Stating that the concept of “climate migrants” will come to the fore more frequently in the next 10 years, with the increasing impact of the global climate crisis, Akalım said, “The studies show that the number of people who will be displaced due to the climate crisis will be at least 216 million people by 2050. It is expected that a total of 110 million people, 19 million in North Africa, 86 million in Sub-Saharan Africa, and 5 million in Central Asia, which is located in the hinterland of Turkey, will be climate migrants. Even if a very small part of these people turn their way to our country, it will lead to great dangers.

  2. Because those refugees are responsible for 200% inflation in Turkey. I’m sure spending millions and millions deporting them will drop inflation back to 0% or even to negative inflation and give every Turk an iPhone.

  3. How likely is IYI to win next elections? Is this just a small party making a big proclamation because they know they will not be elected and have to actually see the plan through?
