Before the electricity price spike we were averaging 180 per month. Last year we spent almost 2500 on heating oil. With the current prices it would be 250 for electricity, so 3k per year and around 4500 for heating oil. That’s 7500. So 6k is an understatement.
I don’t do it but just wondering for those that have solar, has the amount money you get for selling excess energy back to grid gone up?
I hope everyone is investing heavily in candles and alternative options to your electric hob and oven for cooking your dinners. This is gonna get ridiculous especially if we get excessive rain or snow this winter.
Glad I kept my solid fuel stove and back boiler
But hey at least you’ll get another 200 euro off it lol.
