  1. I was wondering what was happening with this – cool the research is progressing to something nearly ready for use., could be really game changing. Pop into your local Boots and get your terminal illness diagnosis today.

She is also taking part in trials to see if the same can be done for TB

  2. They should also look into why the disease is causing such a smell? Why would a neurological condition change someone’s skin makeup? This could lead to further discoveries about other similar conditions

  3. It must be absolute hell being a super smeller, especially if you went into pubs or nightclubs, nevermind pub/nightclub/public/bus station male toilets

  4. I met a super smeller once, a French night guard at summer camp. Seemed like a wholesome dad type. When people gave him grief he mentioned his powers, he did whatever trick a camper thought would defeat him. For example, smelling a pebble, coin, etc, then guessing which hand it was in. Putting it cups, rubbing on one palm vs another, guessing which camper held the coin or rock previously. He was pretty much always right.

Word got out about his powers and I think that kinda terrified any of the teens who wanted to sneak out for a cigarette or shenanigans. What strikes me now years later is just how gracious he must have been knowing how much he could pick up of everyone’s behaviours.
