I’m in the airport at the moment, they’re beginning to cancel some transatlantic flights as well.
That’s going to be a costly mistake. What a disgrace.
Aer Lingus have fallen apart.
A friend of mine from the States – flight cancelled on the day, then delayed 2 hours on new one, then luggage lost. Along with no Wi-Fi or entertainment working on the flight. On the return trip he had to deal with their broken VeriFLY system which can’t match basic details up.
Both flights I’ve taken in summer were delayed over an hour. My sister’s boyfriend had a flight with them where it was over 90 minutes late and he missed a connection and had to spend 24 hours in an airport.
They’re a total mess. And don’t even get me started on their dreadful off shore “support” centre.
Who would have thought Ryanair>Aerlingus
My guess is that it’s Russian retaliatory hack after visa restrictions were enforced by EU states yesterday.
