They can’t simply brush this under the carpet. It’s got the UK fuming and the rest of the world probably laughing at us. It’s a disgrace.
The thing I am not quite getting is the fact that we have reasonable evidence suggesting a party happened, the police at Downing street record a list of every single person that enters & leaves, so all they have to do is release that list for that day/time & it could all go away.
The fact that the police aren’t doing this means that not only was there a party, they are actively working to cover it up for the government, which is straight out of the dictators handbook & definitely cause for even more concern.
Was he at the office party according to rumours / leaks?
I’ve not kept up with all the details.

I think this might actually stick for once. Purely as many tories and people such as myself were never very happy with lockdown anyway, so for them to mandate it AND ignore it themsleves is outrageous.
It only matters if it leads to some of the people at the top losing their job. Allegra Stratton may have laughed in the video but she is a small sacrifice if the government want to gain some credibility back. Senior Tories now need to start losing jobs, otherwise we can only expect more of the same in the future.
