I don’t really see a conflict of interest here — the Partygate inquiry doesn’t involve anything relating to sexual assault, does it? Chope may be a disgusting old pervert who’s utterly unsuited to represent anyone in Parliament, but he’s the fault of the people of Christchurch, unfortunately.
