Johnson has damaged politics for years to come. He purged the Tories of all its moderates and made it so that soundbites are prioritised over reality. You expected politicians to lie before Johnson but he took it up to eleven, which he also did with the corruption he oversaw. All this and he still has support in the party and with the public, to the point where there are already plans to bring him back. He could have said anything here and it would not have made a difference to his loyalists. The man really does seem to be made of Teflon.
Did he ever build those hospitals, fix the NHS and energy crisis?

When a PM resigns in disgrace they should not be allowed to remain in post for several months while their replacement is found. That’s what a deputy PM is for.
