Fussy can be used for kræsen in Britain. Knark, well we’d tend to say ‘old geezer’, ‘old coot’ or ‘old fart’, with slightly different connotations (the first one is very informal, the second implies a bit of a stupid man, the latter implies annoyance at them).

An old coot like I am choosy.
I have been accustomed to good food through many years – and then one easily becomes a little choosy.
Now that the children have flown the nest, we two old ones would like it easy.
But the food should still be proper regardless.
A real, full-bodied bowl of soup is the best thing we know.
That’s why we cherish Blue Band green pea soup.
Prepared with ease in 20 minutes – and what a soup!
Filling and nourishing, made with fine green peas, onion, celery and leek.
You’ll find it often on our dinner table, and I will happily have seconds.
An old fart like me is picky
Old motherfuckers like me don’t wanna eat shit!
Give me some “Blue Band” green pea soup, bitch!!!
An ol’ koot like me is picky
Hvis man er en gammel knark og en ung purk, hvad er man så midt i mellem?
“An old curmudgeon like me, is hard to to please” er nok det jeg kan komme på der rammer tone og mening på overskriften bedst.
