Kinda confused as there are two definitions for expat in this article.

I remember reading this in the bus and it annoyed me quite a lot. For the SVPler in the back: expat = immigrant. Expat is a made up word so rich white people don’t have to call themselves immigrants and feel better than the rest.
Really? How about the most boring? Where does it rank?
