A few days ago, I asked you for snack recommendations as I was leaving Hungary. Thank you! 🙂

  1. Not pictured: Francia drazsé and Dunakavics, as I ate them before taking a picture (sorry!)

I loved all of them. Some had flavors that I had seen before, such as Dunakavics and Francia DraszĂ©, and others were completely new. Tuc surprised me, I did not expect the flavor to be so strong, but I wasn’t disappointed in the slightest. Balaton Bumm was alright, similar to Snickers but with a different texture. Pottyos Turo Rudi was nice, but I felt like it wouldn’t be something I’d eat often. Maybe it’s better if you grew up with it, like a commentor said on my earlier post. I will definitely buy Balaton, Dunakavics and Tuc again. Thanks again for the recommendations.

same in english : nice, in the original post, nobody mentioned the KĂŒrtƑskalĂĄcs, the best snack of all snacks in hungary, so please accept the apology on their behalf.

  3. Balaton ÚjhullĂĄm is not Hungarian either. The original Balaton szelet was produced in Ukraine but due to the war, the production ceased. Luckily, NestlĂ© (the producer) has a similar product made in Poland for the domestic market called Prince Polo, so they instead started selling that with Hungarian packaging.

  4. TĂșrĂł Rudi has a really short shelf life, and has to be refrigerated at all times. Eat is asap.
